In this video, Eli compares best-in-class convertible car seats models: the Clek Foonf and Nuna Rava! Both of these seats have many standout features that we LOVE at Magic Beans. The Clek Foonf is built like a tank, offering an anti-rebound bar for added rear facing protection and a rigid latch installation for forward facing. The Nuna Rava offers a quick and easy seat belt installation utilizing a tension plate. At the foundation of both seats is an entirely steel frame lined with energy absorbing foam for side impact protection. Both seats do offer multiple recline positions and extended rear facing to 50lbs. We know it is really hard to decide, cleaning and fit may help you land on one over the other. The Rava is the better fit for smaller vehicles as it takes up less space from front to back when rear facing. The Foonf is the better fit for parents who need to fit three seats across one row as it is narrower and only 17inches wide. The Rava features removable machine washable fabric (line dry), while none of Cleks fabrics are removable or machine washable Clek does offer their C-Zero fabric which is stain, odor and moisture resistant- providing the easiest maintenance- wipe to clean!
