FIRST APPEAL ON REPLY TO RTI APPLICATION U/S 19 OF RTI ACT, 2005

1. Please refer to my RTI application dated 10/03/2015 (copy enclosed as Appendix A). This RTI application along with IPO of Rs 10/- was delivered to the office of PIO on 13/03/2015 as per the Speedpost online letter tracking report (Copy enclosed as Appendix B)

2. That NO REPLY has been received from PIO in stipulated time. Hence this appeal is filed before the appellate authority u/s 19 of RTI Act.

3. In case the subject in this RTI does not pertain to you then kindly transfer this appeal to the appropriate First Appellate Authority under intimation to me.

In case of reply was received but you were not satisfied with the answers, you can modify #2 in above draft accordingly.

Documents to be attached with the first appeal:

-Self-attested photocopy of RTI Application,
-Self-attested copy of PIO’s reply (if any),
-any other document(s) supporting the grounds and pleadings in appeal.
-Self-attested means, at the bottom of a photocopy, write ‘Attested’ and below that put full signature.


Personal Hearing FAA is required to grant a personal hearing to Appellant in compliance with principles of natural justice. Appellant desirous to be heard by FAA shall mention it at the end of the appeal. In case attending such hearing is not convenient to Appellant, he may not include such request in his appeal. It is not mandatory to appear for First Appeal hearings.
