Review | Tiger Heavy Tank Platoon box set 1/100 (15mm) | Flames of War

German mid-war forces get a heavy option with the Tiger Heavy Tank Platoon box set. The Tiger is the iconic Axis tank, and the box set adds them to the mid-war Afrika Korps lists for version 4.

Heavily armoured, the Tiger is impervious to most Allied tanks, and the powerful 8.8cm gun makes it a real handful. We have a look at the version 4 stats for Flames of War, as well as explore the content of the box and build the kit. While it makes a nice tank, the engineering of the kit means the build needs a bit of care in places to get the best result.
