Do you have an old Halfords bike that you no longer use, or are you looking to upgrade to a newer model?

We can help!

You can now trade in your old Halfords bike for a Halfords gift card that’s redeemable against all products, including our range of bikes. Here’s how:

Check that your bike is eligible to trade in. It must:

Be a Halfords branded bike such as Carrera, Apollo or Boardman.

Have a visible frame number

Not be on our exclusion list

And be clean

Next, book a valuation at one of our selected stores at a time and date that suits you

Bring your bike in along with two forms of ID. Accepted IDs include a passport or driving licence alongside proof of address. You must also be over 18.

One of our expert technicians will then assess your bike to determine its condition and safety.

We’ll then offer you the value of the bike in the form of a gift card.

This gift card can be redeemed online, in-store or in our Garages.

If you’re happy with the valuation we’ll ask you to sign some paperwork, and we’ll take the bike off you in exchange for your gift card, ready to redeem as and when you wish.
