Digimon World 2 Alternative #87 - Guardians Boss Battle in Core Tower - (No Commentary)

At this point in the game, the difficulty level suddenly skyrocketed to a point where this battle becomes nearly unwinnable if you don't have the right moves and a substantial quantity of healing items. I found myself having to go back countless times, grind for levels extensively, revisit other domains to capture the necessary Digimon for specific moves, do many DNA Digivolutions, and grind even more levels, all just to have a chance at winning this battle. I didn't record this entire process because it required many hours of repetitive gameplay

As you can see in the video, I needed specific moves to win this battle. You'll require moves that can cause paralysis, which eventually causes the Guardians to miss their attacks. Additionally, you should have assist moves that can boost your attack and defense, as they have moves that lower your attack and defense stats.

Both the Vaccine and Virus guardians also have moves that enhance their defense and attack, so having the move Vermili Blaze, which removes their buffs, is essential. Without this move, the battle becomes extremely difficult because they keep stacking buffs until you can't damage them, and they deal significantly higher damage. Vermilimon has this move.
