Some lucky Northeast Ohio dogs got to take an end-of-the-season swim at the pool in Walter's Grove in Parma — and it was all in support of the Parma Animal Shelter.

Each year, NBC and Telemundo stations from across the United States team up with animal shelters and rescues for the annual Clear the Shelters campaign.

This year, Clear the Shelters will celebrate its 11th year of the campaign, running from Aug. 1-31.

Throughout the whole campaign, 3News will feature live segments with shelters from Northeast Ohio as well as adoptable pets.
