America wants Black people to stay in debt FOREVER! Why? So that we can keep giving our money away to fund other people's communities. Collectively, we earn $1.6 TRILLION! However, we don't know how to manage our finances, we don't own homes compared to our counterparts (i.e., White Americans), and we earn low wages. Therefore, if we continue to borrow money (making other people rich), then we'll stay where were are financially because we won't have the financial resources to invest, save, and create assets that build wealth.

Black people know how to "manage" debt (i.e., how to borrow money), but we don't know how to manage money. Let's do something different. That different is to become debt free.

I understand the importance of living debt free. It starts with a mindset shift from being a slave to debt to being free from debt. If you don't change your perspective about debt, you'll "always" have debt. Debt is a thief, not a tool.

It's your responsibility to pay off debt. Don't wait for a government bail out to get you out of debt. That's your job! Make 2025 the year that you decide to kick debt to the curb!
