Raw Banana Samosa

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour - 300 grams
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Water - 150 milliliters
Oil - 2 teaspoons
Water - 1 litre
Raw bananas - 4
Oil - 2 tablespoons
Cumin - 1 teaspoon
Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
Green chili - 1 teaspoon
Cashews - 2 tablespoons
Boiled green peas - 40 grams
Red chili - 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
Coriander - 2 tablespoons
Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
Water
Oil - for frying

PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add 300 grams all purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 150 milliliters water and knead it into a smooth soft dough.
2. Add 2 teaspoons oil and tuck the dough well.
3. Rest the dough for 10 minutes.
4. Heat 1 litre water in a pot, add 4 raw bananas and cover it with lid.
5. Boil for 15 - 20 minutes.
6. Remove it from heat. Drain and peel them off.
7. Transfer it into a bowl and mash it with the help of a food masher.
8. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pot, add 1 teaspoon cumin and stir well.
9. Then, add 1teaspoon ginger paste, 1 teaspoon green chili and saute for a minute.
10. Now, add 2 tablespoons cashews, 40 grams boiled green peas and mix it well.
11. Cook for 2 - 3 minutes on low heat.
12. Add the mashed raw bananas in it and mix it well.
13. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes.
14. Then, add 1 teaspoon red chili, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon chaat masala and mix it well.
15. Now, add 2 tablespoons coriander, 1 teaspoon lemon juice and mix it again.
16. Cook for another 3 - 5 minutes.
17. Remove it from heat.
18. Take a ball from dough and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
19. Cut it into half.
20. Brush it with water.
21. Now, make a cone of it.
22. Fill the prepared stuffing in it.
23. Seal the edges properly.
24. Heat sufficient oil in a skillet and deep fry these until it turns golden brown and crispy.
25. Drain it on an absorbent paper.
26. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
