The Abstraction - Reilly Method for Caricature Drawing

What is the Abstraction? In simple terms, it’s a linear representation of the head, using flowing rhythmical curves that trace the connections between anatomical shapes and features. It’s a tool to help you improve the construction of your drawings, and is especially helpful in drawing heads at extreme angles.
