Revit Tutorial - Create A Customizable Door Plan Swing

Learn how to create a door plan swing family with a customizable angle parameter. The 2D plan swing of a door family should be created in a separate nested family. Create reference lines to assign angular dimensions. Create a masking region matching the reference lines. Create the arc line using "symbolic lines". Use an "if" statement formula to avoid angles below 1 degree.

You can use this family to add an opening angle to the door 3D panel.

This family is unbreakable! Even if you use problematic angles like 270, the family will keep working.
