Gabor Varga
Lucka plays a very nice, healthy, big sound. She has got a nice dynamic range and using it very well, nice legato, nice sound quality. Even between the registers, what is quite remarkable at her age. Her tempo is floating a little bit in the solo piece. The intonation is not the best, unfortunately - constantly sharp. The phrasing isn’t the very best musical, not like she would do anything wrong, just is is a little bit shy and need an improvement the find the characters. The fast fast part is not the very best in case of precision, but she managed it quite well.

Very nice sound. In a good control of the instrument’s registers. A bit less in diminuendos and in the end of phrases when she wants (what is correct!) to soften a musical line – she looses control and gets sharper. She plays more introvertive – I would like to encourage her to find in her music even more colours. In a faster tempo she could be a bit more precise. Overall… very nice.

Lucka presents a nice rich sound. Moves well between registers. Sometimes intonation goes up especially during diminuendo. This causes places with imprecise intonation. Needs musical development also by moving the body. Very promising clarinetist.
