The Past, the Present, the Future | Hannah Pate | TEDxYouth@AISG

The past, present, and future, is there a connection? Should we let the past be in the past and solely focus on the future? I had a deep thought about this when the Covid-19 pandemic hit, questioning the concept of time. I miss the past, I am satisfied with my present, but I also look forward to the future. Will these timelines influence each other or are they seperate concepts? My name is Hannah Li Pate and I am a sophomore from the American International School of Guangzhou. I come from a multi-cultured family as my father is American and my mother is Chinese. Though I have lived in China for my whole life, I usually leave to stay in the states for a few months each year. My household is a mix of American and Chinese culture where I am exposed to diverse traditions.
