🌿 To face the challenges of climate change, Europe has to adapt and find solutions to reduce its carbon footprint. #GreenEconomy has an inevitable impact on the #EuropeanLabourMarket. The EURES network has to respond to the new situation.

What does it mean? The demand for certain skills related to #sustainability grows and at the same time, it decreases for others, connected to the use of fossil fuels. In many cases, it’ll require workers to upskill or even change careers. Moreover, the map of labour shortages and surpluses across Europe is constantly changing which calls for a more flexible labour mobility.

EURES is there to help European #jobseekers and #employers navigate these difficult waters. Matching those two groups in the sustainability sector and organising fairs dedicated to green jobs are only two examples.

You will hear Dana Radu from EURES Romania and Petar Pavrlišak from EURES Croatia talking about the network’s focus on the green economy.
