Jesus wasn’t just teaching us to pray — He was calling us to live as citizens of God’s Kingdom right here, right now. This is a call to action… a call to surrender our will to the King’s will, to follow Jesus daily, and to bring Heaven’s life into a hurting world through love, truth, and faith.

A BRIEF BIO
I was raised in Anderson, Indiana. I grew up in the church and accepted Christ as Savior at 10, but when I saw AC/DC in concert in 1980 (at age 13) my whole world changed! I dove head-first into the sex, drugs, & Rock n Roll world. That lifestyle led me to rock bottom, where at age 20, I quit running from God, and surrendered to Jesus as Savior---AND LORD. I experienced some power and life transforming valleys in my early twenties. A benign brain tumor/surgery resulted in me losing 75% of my vision (I am legally blind). God used that season of my life to shape my life and faith in countless ways. God called me into the preaching/teaching ministry on thanksgiving Sunday, 1990 – I’ll never forget that moment! I prepared for ministry at Anderson University (1989-92) and Johnson Bible College (1992-95) receiving my BS in Preaching and Biblical Studies. I was ordained as a pastor in June of 1995 and between then and now I’ve pastored churches in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Tennessee. Since July of 2018 my wife Kelly and I have served First Christian Church, in Cookeville, TN.
