Understanding consciousness has been a puzzle for humanity for many millennia. There are many speculative views of what this really is. Some consider consciousness to be a secondary product of our brain that can be completely explained with physical sciences. Others regard consciousness as somewhat transcendental, and our permanent self. Without going into two extremes of worldviews made of totally materialistic and supernatural/mystical concepts, there is a very practical and experiential approach of directly seeing how consciousnesses arise and cease in the series of episodes of mental phenomena in our minds. Training of mind with the meditation of directly seeing them leads to insights that dispel all the myths about consciousness and the need for any theorizing.

This video uncovers modern scientific aspects relevant to the links of dependent origination and how they can be seen even in daily life. Some lights are shed into consciousness and physical matter. Quantizing nature of our perceptions are analyzed and how the training of mind leads to their 'dequantization' or cessation of links and ultimately to Nibbana-- the deathless.

The importance of mindfulness is stressed as the path to deathless and some relevant notions around this, are discussed.
