Gaurav Banerjee has always impressed me with his eloquence at press conferences & trailer launches. considering the terrific year that disney plus hotstar have had in terms of content i simply had to get him in for an interview. he is passionate about animation as.a category and a big believer in creating a robust multilingual content catalog. the respect he has for cinema and series' emanating out of the southern states is also something i found very heartening. unscripted content like `big boss` & `koffee with karan` plus thrilling original series like `special ops` & `lootere` get him going and his team and him have made it the cornerstones of their sucess story. i loved that he gave some time to sport - in particular football & this years t20 world cup in the US plus the `Marvel` catalogue and international titles and series that gen z is tripping on. gauravs nostalgia at having studied radio as part of his post graduate film and communications course was apparent the moment he walked into studio and soaked in the ambience! happy watching.
