Niki (played by #danielbrühl ) and James (played by #chrishemsworth ) have always been fierce rivals. Niki is serious and disciplined, showing great respect for the profession of racing, while James is a risk-taker who treats racing as a way to pursue thrills and women. Despite their vastly different personalities, their rivalry has never ceased.
In an effort to become more mature, James marries a supermodel he meets by chance, Suzy (played by #Oliviawilde ). Niki also finds the love of his life and joins the Ferrari team. At the same time, James, whose life is beginning to decline, joins the McLaren team, putting the two adversaries back on the battlefield of life once more.
During a race in heavy rain, Niki suffers a serious crash and is badly injured, allowing James to take the championship. However, Niki does not give up. Despite widespread objections, he makes a remarkable comeback to the track in an incredibly short period of time.
