This is the actual interiors of the external house we see in nearly every episode of The O.C..Notice how the inside looks completely different than what we saw on TV. This is because the creators used only the outside of this Malibu home - the interiors were inspired by another house on the same street, this was where the interior pilot episode shots were filmed. After the pilot episode, the show was shot inside Raleigh Manhattan Beach Studios. A set was created that took the likes of this house and the interiors of the pilot episode and married them together. In late 2018 the house that we saw the interiors of in the pilot episode was burned down.
