Ariostea MHS, based on recent R&D projects and the results of over a decade of experience, has launched on domestic and interna-tional markets new types of silos and tanks called “SW” with welded spiral shell. Completely smooth internal walls and full
hermetic performance are elements that make these silos and
tanks ideal for storing fine grain material, powders and liquids.
The “SW” silos and tanks are built on-site in a surprising short
time, the number of workers required for the construction and
erection is much lower then traditional technology, this in addition to extra performance in strength, working life and overall
reliability, it offers undoubted cost effectiveness.
Erection and construction is done with special equipment owned
by Ariostea. A sheet metal coil, which can be carbon steel, galva-nized carbon steel stainless steel and aluminum, is by means of
a single operational sequence, unrolled, roll formed, calendared
to the required radius and continuously welded with a special
wire welding process that does not alter the surface protection
performance in any way.
