২০২৩ সালের পুরীর রথযাত্রার শেষ মুহূর্তের প্রস্তুতি পর্বের ছবি তুলে ধরেছি এই ভিডিওতে। আগামীকাল সাজ-সাজ রবে গোটা পুরী সহ বিশ্বের বিভিন্ন প্রান্তের মানুষ অংশ নেবেন এই রথযাত্রায়। পঞ্জিকা মতে, প্রতি বছর আষাঢ় মাসের শুক্ল পক্ষের দ্বিতীয়া তিথিতে পুরীর জগন্নাথদেবের রথযাত্রার আয়োজন করা হয়। এই বছর, ১৯শে জুন ২০২৩ তারিখের সকাল ১১টা বেজে ২৫ মিনিটে রথযাত্রার তিথি আরম্ভ হচ্ছে। আর পরেরদিন ২০শে জুন ২০২৩ তারিখে দুপুর ১টা বেজে ৭ মিনিটে শেষ হবে। তিথি মেনে এই বছর আগামীকাল অর্থাৎ ২০শে জুন, মঙ্গলবার সকালে পুরীর রথযাত্রার শুভ আরম্ভ হবে।

ইতিমধ্যে রথযাত্রার শেষ মুহূর্তের প্রস্তুতি জোরকদমে চলছে। রথ তৈরি হচ্ছে, সাজানো হচ্ছে, গোটা রাস্তায় আলপনা দেওয়া হচ্ছে। পুরী শহর আজ লোকে লোকারণ্য! সহস্র মানুষ আজ প্রতি বছরের মতো জগন্নাথদেবের রথযাত্রার প্রস্তুতি পর্বের সাক্ষী হতে চলে এসেছেন পুরীতে। এক বছরের অপেক্ষার শেষে অবশেষে কাল দেখা মিলবে জগন্নাথ, বলরাম, সুভদ্রার। তাই স্বাভাবিকভাবেই অগণিত জনতার মধ্যে রথ দেখার আনন্দ দেখা যাচ্ছে। আর মাত্র একটা রাত। তারপরই কাল পুরীর মন্দির থেকে বেরবেন জগন্নাথ, বলভদ্র, সুভদ্রা এবং তিন ভাই-বোন মিলে রথে চড়ে তাঁদের মাসির বাড়ি গুণ্ডিচা মন্দিরের দিকে যাত্রা করবেন। উড়িষ্যার মানুষের স্থানীয় বিশ্বাস অনুযায়ী, এই রথযাত্রায় অংশগ্রহণ করলে সাধারণ মানুষের পুণ্যলাভ হয় এবং মোক্ষ প্রাপ্তি ঘটে। ধার্মিক মতে, পুরীর রথযাত্রাকে অনেকে বহুদা রথযাত্রাও বলেন। পুরীর জগন্নাথ মন্দিরের রথযাত্রা ভারতে শুধু নয়, গোটা বিশ্বে জনপ্রিয়।

On Puri Rath Yatra 2023:
This vlog tried to capture the last moment preparation of Puri Rath Yatra 2023. Amidst the colours, lights, sounds, and tremendous energy, tomorrow everyone will be participating in this year’s Chariot Festival. According to the Hindu religious calendar, every year on the second lunar day (Dwitiya tithi) of the “Shukla Paksha”, in the month of ‘Ashad’ (Ashar), this Rath Yatra for the Lord Jagannath is usually arranged in Puri. This year, from 19th June, Monday at 11:25 am. onwards the auspicious hours of Rath Yatra starts and it will end at 01:07 pm. on 20th June, Tuesday. Following the scriptural calendar, Puri Rath Yatra 2023 will be officially started from tomorrow morning, dated 20th June 2023.

In the meantime, the last hour preparation for this year’s Chariot Festival is at full swing. The city of Puri is now totally packed with crowds due to the one after another waves of people coming from various parts of India and across the world to witness the magnificent Raths (chariots) of the Lord Jagannath, Balaram (Balabhadra) and Subhadra after one year’s waiting. Making of Puri's Lord Jagannath's Rath is an exciting process. Therefore, the energy as well as happiness can easily be seen on people’s faces. The festive mood, crowds, masses in Puri have been framed in this video. The grand festival is just one night away and then at tomorrow morning, Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra will begin their journey to their “Mashir Bari” (maternal aunt’s house), which is usually called ‘Gundicha Mandir’ (Gundicha temple). The people of Odisha believe that if one participates in this Rath Yatra, she/he will definitely acquire holiness and get salvation or “moksha”. As per the religious beliefs, this is also called “Bahuda Rath Yatra”. Not only in India, Jagannath Mandir’s Rath Yatra of Puri is equally famous in the other parts of world.
