The applicant used the term "having good intentions." Do not tell a recruiter you had good intentions when doing something deviant. Fall on your sword. If you tell them you had good intentions, it tells the recruiter that the behavior might possibly occur again. There is no such thing doing something wrong for good intentions when applying to the police force. Explain how you were wrong in thinking at the time that your thought your intentions were good.
