Crag View, Squak Glacier - Washington State

Sherman Peak is a sub-peak of Mount Baker in Washington State. Squak Glacier is situated on its southern slope, with Crag View looming above the base of Squak Glacier. In this video, we climb to Crag View and camp upon its summit on a sunny Fourth of July weekend. The panoramic view from this point is spectacular! This primordial landscape is a world of windswept rock and ice, where the forces of nature rule. While this stratovolcano is currently dormant, one day it will surely reawaken to reclaim its lofty slopes.
