Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Kenda Karrier ST 205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire in a Load Range D. Now, this is an ST tire, which stands for Special Trailer tire. It has the sturdy sidewall so that it can handle heavy loads. And it is created specifically for trailers.

It's not intended for use on other vehicles. The tire is a Kenda Karrier Special Trailer Radial Tire. Uses double steel belts, and then full nylon plies to combine for superior function and long life. The tread on it is a silica infused tread. And if you look at the tread blocks, you'll see the cuts are the openings.

Those are sipes, which will help produce hydroplaning. This offers excellent handling in off-pavement situations. We mentioned it's an ST tire, that does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications. The wheel size at this tire will fit on, 14 inch by five inch wide, 14 by five and a half inch wide, and 14 by six inch wide wheels. The tire size, which will be stamped on the sidewall.

ST for Special Trailer, ST 205/75R14. The R means that it is a radial tire. Section width on this is eight inches. Overall diameter from the bottom to the top when it's inflated is 26.3. And this tire is a load range D, which means it's an eight ply rated tire.

So the maximum load capacity on this is 2,200 pounds at 75 PSI. And the last thing I do wanna mention is, now the trailer tires are coming through with speed rating stamped on them. And it's stamped on the sidewall, but it is a letter designation. And where you'll find that is right after the tire size, you'll see two numbers for the load index, and then a letter M.
