Salt dough ornaments are fun, easy and simple to make. You can make them however you like and for any occasion.

The steps are easy to follow and the kids can be involved in the entire process, they especially love the decorating part!

How to make your own salt dough ornaments!
Recipe:
2 cups of plain flour
1 cut of salt
1 cup of water
Directions:
1) Mix the flour and salt together
2) Add the water and mix
3) Once it starts to come together, mix and kneed with your hands
4) Roll out until the dough is about 1cm thick
5) Cut, shape and design your ornaments
6) Place on a baking tray and add holes using a toothpick if you want them to hang
7) Bake at 120°C (250°F) until dry and hard. This takes 1-3 hours depending on thickness.
8) Once fully cooed, decorate with paint, glitter and whatever you like!
9) Spray with a clear ornament spray to add gloss and help seal.
11) Add ribbons to hang.
