Pusa Basmati 1718 is a new rice seed developed by IARI in 2017 which is quite similar to the iconic 1121 rice. PB 1718 is drawn from PB 1121 seed for this reason only its phycal characteristics are very similar to 1121 rice. Its important to know its physical features in order to clearly defferentiate it from 1121 rice.
