This is a basic guide on how to get to the Abandoned Workshop. Inside you find the clothing the doll wears, a third of an umbilical cord (seriously, you do), and an item for the doll.

Go to the lamp at the Cathedral Ward, the one where you can send survivors, and take the first right hand door with the elevator in it. Ride the elevator up and then exit the room, go across the bridge, and fall off the broken part of the platform to the lower section around the base of the tower the bridge takes you to. From there you want to follow the path, the only one they give, until you get to the wooden walkways. What I did there was simple; I aimed for where the rope was going and hoped for the best. It worked out really well, but be sure to heal for the next drop. Next I jumped off the side of the platform I was already on and then landed squarely on the platform below that. That's it. You did it. You can open the door from there and you're in. There is a lamp inside the Abandoned Workshop that you can use to get yourself out so you don't have to play Platformborne and let yourself out the hard way.
