What Type of Foamboard for a Pool Foundation

I get this question quite often so I wanted to explain what I have used for my pool. Above ground pools can benefit from some type of padding. While there are commercially available products, I've opted to use foam board for my Intex above ground pool foundation.

Foam board:
XPS (Extruded Polystyrene)
4ft x 8ft (1/2 inch thickness)
These can be found in your local hardware center like Lowes or HD.
