I don't really do a lot of art commentary but this situation really irritated me, and made me realized how homophobic some parts of the art community are and how important it is to advocate for an actually safe community for queer artists and creatives to be supported and thrive in their artistic journey. Not only that, but queer customers should be treated with the same respect as any other customer, and discrimination should not be tolerated in the art community.
