Our film, produced in 2016, was designed to help people understand the confusion and fear faced by refugees making a perilous journey by boat - and the critical role trusted information plays throughout their journey.

It is still relevant. Today there are over 120 million forcibly displaced people globally. Access to the internet, mobile networks and social media are all critical in helping them feel more informed and better connected - and the need for trustworthy information, and to dispel harmful misinformation, is greater than ever.
