This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. In this excellent talk, Olympic gold medalist, Iouri Podlatchikov is explaining how winning isn't everything, but one must desire to do so!

Iouri Podladtchikov, was born in Russia while both his parents were studing math at University in Moscow. When his family immigrated to switzerland he found his passion in skateboarding and snowboarding. It lead him to compete at the Winter Olympic Games in 2006, 2010 and several world class competitions all over the Globe before winning a Gold medal at the Olympic Games in Sochi 2014 in Halfpipe. During his Career he became a well respected and published Photographer. He is now motivated to continue his achievements in sports while emerging in the world of Photography.
