Welcome to Angkla Art Gallery, one of the most dynamic art spaces in Angono, Rizal — the Art Capital of the Philippines. Located on the 3rd floor of CPV Business Center along Manila East Road, Angkla first opened its doors in May 2017 with the BIGKIS Art Exhibit, introducing a new gallery venue for artists to showcase their work and inspire the local art community. Its name, Angkla (meaning anchor), reflects its mission to anchor Angono’s rich artistic tradition while connecting local creativity to the wider world.

Angkla actively features diverse exhibits, supporting both established and emerging artists. Among its notable creative movements is Lambana: Angono Women Artists’ Collective — a group formed in March 2020 whose name comes from the Tagalog word Lambana meaning fairy. Lambana evokes local folklore and represents a collective of women artists empowered to share heritage, innovation, and community through their art. This all-women collective blends tradition, myth, and modern expression, highlighting the importance of women’s voices in the Philippine art scene.

Just below the gallery is the Maestro Café, a lively art-and-café space designed to complement Angkla’s creative atmosphere. Conceived as a place where art, music, and community meet, Maestro offers a cozy break for visitors to enjoy coffee, good food, and stimulating conversations surrounded by local artworks and artistic energy — making it a must-visit cultural spot in Angono.
