The Easiest Router Table to Make with an Insert Plate

Описание к видео The Easiest Router Table to Make with an Insert Plate

I’m making a router table with a palm router and an insert plate. This is an easy way to make a router table since we don't need to recess the tabletop to fit the insert plate. We also don't need to build a structure to support the router table's tabletop. We only need some strips and insert nuts, along with screws. Additionally, we need some thin plywood pieces that are the same thickness as the insert plate. The best part is that you can attach or remove it depending on whether you need to use it. It’s easy to store. The trick is to attach the tabletop by screwing it in and cantilevering it off the side of the workbench.

If we don't have thin plywood that is exactly the same thickness as the insert plate we’re using to make the router table, we can use paper to shim underneath either the insert plate or the plywood.
