In this UX Portfolio Review, Sarah Doody reviews the portfolio of a Junior UX Designer with 1.5 years experience. Sarah uses a UX portfolio checklist and scorecard to critique each portfolio.

In each UX portfolio review, we look at 3 key areas of the portfolio and evaluate 1 project within the candidate's UX portfolio:

1) Who is the person as a UX professional? Is it clear what they do within UX?

2) Does the project demonstrate the candidate's UX skills, go beyond screenshots and have a cohesive story about the UX process?

3) Did the candidate consider the UX of their UX portfolio? Is the portfolio easy to read, scan, skim and are the visuals easy to understand?
