Serene little town; absolutely beautiful location and right next to the New Mills train station too! Entrance to the park/walkway is free.

There are some roadside parking but those allow only 30 mins parking. We parked in a parking lot (£2.50 for up to 4 hours) only about 5 minutes walk away from the entrance of the park.

This is a family/children friendly walk/hike, but has lots of large steps, so NOT pushchairs/buggies/cycle friendly. You can possibly take a scooter to ride on the bridge but will be difficult on the other paths as it's bare ground.

Hold onto little kiddies as you walk down to the walkway/bridge; our little one kept leaning over the sides to see the waterfall!

On one end of the bridge/walkway (depending on where you start from), there is a pub that sells great food and drinks; menu in the video. There are good indoor and outdoor sitting areas.

The pub is the only place in the park with toilets; all unisex, so not the cleanest.
