S1 – Ep 425 – Punda Maria Rest Camp!

Our long journey to the Kruger National Park was finally over and we looked forward with great excitement to enter the Park. Passing through the Pafuri gate marked our official entry into the Park, and Sonia, with her keen eye, was quick to spot the first wildlife, the familiar sight of graceful and beautiful impala antelope. We embarked on a drive to Crooks Corner, a unique spot where the borders of South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique converge, known for its historical association with individuals on the wrong side of the law. A visit to the Pafuri Border Post was surprisingly pleasant, with friendly encounters with the local Police adding to the positive experience.
