Patricia and Da’Ron love each other, both have reservations about marriage because of their insecurities over their continual contacts with their ex’s. Patricia worries Da’Ron is racist because she is the only interracial relationship he has been in. Patricia is concerned Da’Ron and other family members question the paternity of their son. Da’Ron worries Patricia’s disciplinarian skills are lacking when it comes to the children.
