More than 40 years ago, Karl-Heinz Schuler walked through Reutlingen. On a street corner he discovers a camping bus, looks inside and has a brilliant idea. "You can do better than that," the student says to himself and founds the Carthago motorhome brand in Ravensburg on 1 July 1979.
