How to Cannabonsai Roots on Rock: Session 1

Описание к видео How to Cannabonsai Roots on Rock: Session 1

We demonstrate the various techniques and tools we use to unveil roots to begin achieving an exposed photoperiod roots on rock cannabonsai. After transplanting onto the base medium, we usually wait 3-4 weeks before beginning any unveiling.

The purpose of this first session is to begin the process of air pruning and 'training' the roots. We begin by 'cleaning' the roots, loosening and breaking up the soil so we can expose the roots completely to the air. This will begin the process of letting the plant know to not concentrate on growing roots around the top and to focus on growing roots deeper in the soil.

The first root unveil is a great time to assess the growth, strength and structure of your root system. If the tap root and main lateral roots look thin and pale, give it another week or so before continuing to avoid shocking them too much.

During this process, there may be some root tearing but don't worry, roots are stronger and more resilient than you think!

If you are interested in learning the entire process from start to finish, our handbooks are now available for pre-order in link below.
