Get a field value from a related table in Power BI DAX RELATED Function Explained

Sometimes, in Power BI, you need to access a field’s value from another table that somehow is related to the existing table. You can use Power Query transformations such as combining Merge with something else. However, this can be needed when you write a DAX expression too.
