Welcome to the first episode of Ad Hoc Horology. This is going to be my way to deliver watch content that may be "when necessary or needed" on the fly, and off the cuff. Rather than a straight up review, or something scripted.

Did you know the Helm Miyako, with its 22mm lug width, can be fitted with the Uncle Seiko Z199 bracelet? I didn't either, but now that I know, it is my favorite way to wear the Miyako. It just goes to show you, fitting some aftermarket bracelets to other watches can work!
