xTool M1 Smart Laser Engraver and Vinyl Cutter

Felicia and I have done a lot of work with cutting vinyl, cardstock, and some thin wood using our Cricut and Silhouette machines. When xTool reached out about their xTool M1 Smart Laser Engraver and Vinyl Cutter, we were super excited to give it a try and take our crafting experience and Etsy store products to the next level. We were amazed with what we could create just a few hours after unboxing it.

There is a lot to like about the xTool M1. First, it obviously does laser engraving, scoring, and cutting of materials up to about 3mm in thickness. We have never been able to cut anything that thick before! Our 10 Watt laser version opens up a world of possibilities of cutting, engraving and scoring basswood, thin plywood laminates, glass, acrylic, and even stainless steel. Since we're already established in the Christmas ornament and keepsake businesses, we feel the capabilities of the xTool M1 Smart Laser Engraver and Vinyl Cutter will bring us to the next level.

And we were completely shocked to learn the xTool M1 has a rotary cutting blade that's perfect for making very accurate cuts on paper, cardstock, vinyl, and even fabrics. Rotary cutting blades are also found in Cricut's flagship Maker cutting machine. It's much more convenient to have a laser cutter and a rotary blade in one multifunctional cutting machine.
