This tuner was built by W4KQD 50 years ago or more. He retired in our area and had a station here for a number of years. His main transceivers were Drake Twins and other tube equipment. This tuner built with a plexiglass case should not be used. The RF field near this tuner with a KW input would be harmful. Years ago we did not really think much about this. It is a very nice example of homebrew equipment and from now on it will only be used to show folks a T type antenna tuner and not put to use.
