Tucked beautifully within peaceful gardens and intimate spaces is the charming Faisalabad Serena Hotel. For three days, this 5-star gem was a complete oasis for me from an otherwise bustling city known first-and-foremost for its textiles ... but also for horns that never stop blowing and what seems like never-ending traffic! Serena's service is top, their Pakistani kitchen is a delight, and it was the perfect homebase as I explored the beating textile heart of Pakistan.
