Nani Wale Ka Lau Oliva - Darren Benitez Tribute

Like many in my generation, living here in Hawai’i, we grew up listening to Uncle Darren Benitez’ beautiful music on the radio. He’s an integral part of the soundtrack of my childhood. He was one of my favorite falsetto voices and it was a pleasure to have known him and having the privilege to jam with him a few times. I was so sad to hear of his passing. Amongst everything that’s been happening lately, his death was another big blow. My love and pule goes out to his family during this time. Wanted to honor him with this song. Danced by one of my most favorite Miss Aloha Hulas ever, my favorite song that Uncle Johnny Lum Ho has written and my favorite song that Uncle Darren recorded. RIP. ♥️🙏🏽 #gonetoosoon

Also dedicating this song to my friends and ohana on Maui, especially those in Lahaina who have lost so much, we love you folks and are praying so hard for you and doing what we can to help.
