These Meitei & Kuki Youths Stayed Together, Trained Together

For as long as 56 weeks, a group of 2000 Meitei, Kuki, Naga and other youths from a few other tribes in Manipur lived and ate together, displayed great sportsman spirit in the games they played together and generally bonded as friends and a team.
They also fired bullets from automatic weapons but not at each other. They fired at dummy targets in front of them.
We are talking of the 1,943 recruits from Manipur who have just finished a rigorous training at the highly rated Lachit Barphukan Police Academy (LBPA), located in eastern Assam’s Dergaon town.
