It has been a while since Humming House has been able to visit the Blue Plate Special, but they were able to work us into their hectic touring schedule. The band treated the audience to tunes from their new album, “Companion”, which is scheduled for release on 10-6-17. They describe the sound of the new CD as more electric than their previous effort, “Revelries” (2015), which is in regular rotation here at WDVX. That being said, Humming House proved their talent and versatility with an all acoustic performance of “London” from the new album. Humming House is Justin Wade Tam –guitar/vocals, Bobby Chase-fiddle, Joshua Wolak-mandolin, and Benjamin Jones-bass.
