Absolutely silent
This pump delivers plenty of air- I’m using it to run 1 large and 2 medium air stones in a 55 gal tank. It is also incredibly quiet. I love my fish, but hate hearing noisy pumps. This pump is exceptionally quiet. It sits inside a cabinet and when I close the door, it cannot be heard at all. It makes my quiet canister filter seem loud. My only concern is that some of the hardware is missing on one of the two air outlet nipples and it pushes in when the air line is installed. It does not seem to affect the function of the pump, but I worry that it will break if i have to add or detach the air line very often. Otherwise, I am very happy with my purchase and the next time I need to replace a pump on any of my 4 aquariums, this is the one I’ll buy.
