Liftmaster Garage Door Opener Problems:
1. Liftmaster opener safety sensors: garage door won’t close:
One of the main reasons for a garage door not closing is a problem with the sensors located on the bottom side of the garage door track.

Check for any subject between the sensors

2. Liftmaster remote control is not working

3. Liftmaster close and open limits

The buttons are located on the left side of the garage door opener. The up arrow indicates the control for up travel and the down arrow indicates control for down travel. Turning the screw in the direction of the arrow will increase travel, turning against the arrow will indicate decreased travel.

Safety sensors are blocked, not aligned or wires problem
Garage starts to close but reverses to the open position.
Align the sensors and make sure that there are no objects between them. Check if the sensors are connected to the opener, and if the wires are in a good condition.

Opener will not close and the lights will flash ten times
Ensure the safety sensors are correctly wired and the bare cooper.

Problem with the logic board
The garage door opener is not functioning as expected due to a failure in the logic board component.

Opener has lost power

Check the power connection with the opener or the backup batteries if your opener has it.

Logic board needs replacement
The garage door is not functioning as expected.

Excessive force. The opener is using too much force when closing the door.
The door reverses and returns to the open position before touching the floor.
It is very likely that is a garage door hardware component damaged that needs to be accessed by a professional technician.

Reverse the open position. The garage door opener does not move and remains in an open position.
