Welsford 6-metre Whaler BELUGA sailing Noosa River, 9 December 2020. This was her first re-launching and shakedown sail following a six-month rejuvenation. Repainted deck, sheerstrake and cockpit, new varnish on the gunwale, revarnished bowsprit, bumpkin and tiller, new mainmast, yard and mizzen boom, new Huntingford-Barnes helm impeder, and countless other fiddlings and adjustments. I had insufficient luff tension on the main downhaul, but that's corrected towards the end.
