How to Milk a Cow by Hand

Many of you have asked for this video over the past few years and here it is! In this video I walk you through our morning milking routine. I will show you how I prep, milk, filter and store the raw milk we handmilk from our Irish Dexter cow Apple Jax.

If you live on a small homestead and are looking into getting a family cow an Irish Dexter is a great small cow to get. They are easy keepers and small enough that even the kids can handle.
